ABTR has stepped up and pledged to help this poor POISONED Little Yorkie puppy in an emergency vet
clinic that sent out a plea to the rescue community to help save: URGENT NEED!!!
I know this is not a Boston Terrier, but... she is a dog that needed help in a hurry, so...
we offered to help her when she needed it most. We have only succeeded in collecting about $700 in
donations for her vetting, Won't you please consider pledging just $10 to help us pay for the
treatment this poor puppy needed that her owners would not pay for? ABTR is committed to doing all
we can for her, but as always our resources have been stretched thin so we need some help to give
this little girl the help she needs. Her vetting has exceeded $1500 so far and she still needs to
be spayed and have other vetting, so we're grateful for each and every contribution. Thank you.
ABTR is a 501c3 charitable organization and every penny you donate is tax-deductible.
As always, we at ABTR appreciate your continued support of our rescue efforts. Without your
generosity and support, we could not have helped as many dogs as we have over the years. :) Thank
you so very much.

You've always said your furbaby should be in pictures!
American Boston Terrier Rescue is hosting our fifth annual calendar photo
contest. We've expanded our search to all rescued Boston Terriers, not
just ABTR rescues.
We consider a rescue to be any BT who was adopted from rescue, adopted
from a shelter, found as a stray and adopted, rescued from an
abusive/neglectful situation, etc.
The winning photos will be featured in the 2010 ABTR calendar,
which will be available in time for holiday gift giving.
Some things to keep in mind when submitting photos...

of the picture and that there's not too much going on in the background.
Remember, these photos need to be very clear, crisp and large! Think
CALENDAR QUALITY.

download Irfanview from tucows.com for free and change the format
using that program.
5. When submitting your pictures, please include your name, email address,
the names of the people and animal(s) in the photo, the name(s) of the
dog(s) you adopted, the group(s) they were adopted from, and a short bio.
Also, please let us know how you will pay the submission fee, whether by
Paypal (fundraiser@rescuebostons.org), or via snail mail (personal check or

6. Submissions that have not been paid for by the July 17th deadline will
not be included in the contest.
7. You may enter as many photos as you like, but there will be an entry fee
per photo. This is a fundraiser, after all.

This page is under construction. A lot of the links in the red menu do not work as yet - But I am working on it when I have time (Wanda).
UPDATE ON ABTR RESCUE QUILT 5/08 - We only have one more quilt square to wait on and then the blocks will be sent to a volunteer who will put them together. Once they are together, they will be sent to another volunteer to quilt. It may take another year or so to finish this quilt, but once it is done, it will be fantastic!!! This will raise a lot of funds for our rescue dogs. I do appreciate everyone's patience as this project has been in the works for 3 years. Lets just say, this will be the one and only quilt of its kind that we will do as it was just too hard to get everything done in a timely manner.

Thank you for your support.
We at American Boston Terrier Rescue have no ongoing sponsers, subsidies,
grants or other steady supporter paying for the vetting care of the rescue
dogs. All vet bills, dog food and anything else the dogs need are
paid for out of the adoption donations and my own pocketbook. Any
Donations are appreciated.
